Sync Interruptions
Newforma Konekt stays in sync with Microsoft Teams by receiving real-time notifications whenever something changes in a linked channel. If that connection is interrupted, Newforma Konekt stops receiving notifications for the duration of the interruption.
Temporary outage
If a temporary service disruption occurs, the connection restores automatically once the issue is resolved. Newforma Konekt resumes syncing new activity from that point forward. However, edits and deletions that occurred during the outage may not be fully reflected:
- If a message was edited once during the outage, the edit may or may not be captured, depending on timing.
- If a message was edited multiple times during the outage, only the most recent state and the original message are captured; intermediate versions are not recoverable.
- If a message was deleted during the outage, the deletion may not be reflected; the message may still appear in the archive without a Deleted label.
Manual disconnect
Disconnecting the integration stops syncing immediately for all linked channels. To resume syncing, you must manually reconnect your organization.
If you reconnect later with the same domain, previously linked channels reappear in the Channel settings page with a “disabled” status. To resume syncing, hover over a channel in Channel settings and select Enable synchronization.
Edits and deletions that occurred during the disconnected period may not be fully recoverable. See the Channels Overview article for details
