Share files and folders in File manager on Mobile

Users can share files and folders in File on the Newforma Konekt mobile app (including Newforma Konekt, Autodesk Docs files Sharepoint files and folders) allowing users greater flexibility to share a files or folders with internal or external users on the go.

This feature allows users to:

• Share files and folders from the mobile app.
• View the file history of the shared information for the file (Web & mobile).
• Track the sharing from the sharing center on the web.

To share files and folders on the mobile app, follow the steps below:

1. Update the application to the latest version of the mobile app.
2. Make sure the files that are going to be shared are available in the File activity center in Newforma Konekt in the Web app (see note at bottom of page for links).
3. Log in to the Newforma Konekt mobile application.
4. Select your hub and project.
5. Select Files to open the activity center.
6. Select the Ellipses … icon beside the file or folder that you want to share.

7. Select the Share button.
8. Select the desired user from the dropdown list or add an email ID to the sharing list. Note that it is possible to select more than one user to share to the file with.

9. Add remarks, if needed.
10. Select the Share button to share the file or folder. A confirmation message appears.
