View Project Files on Mobile

With Newforma Konekt’s mobile app, you can view the project files from Newforma Konekt directly in the app as well as files from Autodesk Docs and Sharepoint when their folders are connected on the web application. The mobile app allows all logged in project team members to access the most up-to-date information about the project. The files can be downloaded to the device for later viewing or opened using the application of your choice on your device.

Note that iOS opens the supported files automatically while Android asks you for the choice of application to open the file.

Access the project files on the mobile app

Follow the steps below to access the project files on the mobile app:

  1. Open the app on your device and select the desired method to sign in. The application will display in English or French, depending on the system language you set in your device.
  2. Select a hub.
  3. Select a project.
  4. Tap the Hamburger icon at the bottom of the screen, then tap Files to access the project files stored for your project. You can pin the list by tapping the Pin icon.

You can use the search or sort functionality to find the file / folder more easily.
  1. From the file list, click on a folder to view its contents.
  2. Click the … ellipsis to view the options available for each item.
  3. Click on the desired action.

View details of a file/folder

For project files on Newforma Konekt (including files from Newforma Konekt, Autodesk Docs and Sharepoint), you can also view details and history of a file and folder.

Follow the steps below to view files or folders:

  1. From the project file list, click on the … ellipsis of a file/folder to view the options.
  2. Click on the View details button to view the details of the file/folder.
  3. To view the history for the file/folder, click on the History tab, or swipe left to navigate to check the history of the file/folder.

When a folder is connected to Newforma Konekt from the web app, making the files available on both mobile and web app, you can complete the following actions for project files, including files from Newforma Konekt, Autodesk Docs (Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk BIM 360) and Sharepoint:
