Connect to Egnyte in Newforma Konekt
Connecting a Newforma Konekt project to your organization’s Egnyte account makes the Egnyte folders you select available from the project’s Files activity center. The connection is established once per project, from the Integrations tab of the Files activity center settings, by a user with admin access in both Newforma Konekt and Egnyte. All other project users with Egnyte accounts then have access to the connected files and folders without connecting anything themselves.
Connect a Project to Egnyte
To connect a project to Egnyte:
- In Newforma Konekt, select the hub that contains the project, then select the project.
- Navigate to the Files activity center and select the gear icon on the right side of the page.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- In the Egnyte card, select Connect project.
- In the tab that opens, enter your Egnyte domain and sign in to your Egnyte account.
- In the folder selection modal that opens in Newforma Konekt, select the folders to connect to the project, then click Select.
All folders in the connected Egnyte domain are available for selection. To find a folder, enter its name in the search bar or navigate the folder tree.
Newforma Konekt supports one connected Egnyte instance per project.
Disconnect a project from Egnyte
To disconnect Egnyte from a project:
- In Newforma Konekt, select the hub that contains the connected project, then select the project.
- Navigate to the Files activity center and select the gear icon on the right side of the page.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- In the Egnyte card, select Disconnect.
- In the modal that opens, select the checkbox, then click Disconnect.
Disconnecting a project from Egnyte from removes the connected Egnyte files and folders from the project’s Files activity center. The files remain in Egnyte.
