The Attachments tab in an issue’s side panel allows you to upload supporting files associated with the issue. These files can then be downloaded, and supported formats, namely images (PNG, JPG, TIF) and PDF files, can be previewed within the issue side panel.

Note : You can also perform all the actions described below in the 2D/3D viewer.

Add an Attachment

To add an attachment to an issue:

  1. In Newforma Konekt, open the desired project.

  2. In the main menu, under Project, select Issues.

  3. On the Issues page, locate the issue you want to edit.

  4. Click the issue to open it in the side panel.

  5. In the side panel, open the Attachments tab.

  6. Click Upload file to browse for a file, or drag and drop a file into the panel.

  7. Click Upload.

Once uploaded, attachments are available to all users with access to the issue. There is no file size limit, and you can add multiple attachments to the same issue.

Download an Attachment

All files attached to an issue can be downloaded. Click the download icon next to the attachment to download it.

Delete an Attachment

Click the delete icon next to an attachment to remove it.

You must have Editor or Admin permissions to delete attachments. If an attachment is deleted, it remains visible in the issue history.

Preview an Attachment

Click the attachment to open a preview interface. Within it, you can:

  • Zoom in or out

  • Print the file

  • Download the file

Only supported file types—images (PNG, JPG, TIF) and PDF files—can be previewed. Preview is not available for unsupported file types (for example, BCFZIP).

Note: Preview is only available in the issue side panel. Selecting the same attachment from the issue’s details page downloads the file instead of opening a preview.
