Newforma Konekt provides data protection and recovery through regular backups, soft deletion, and a 180-day restoration window for projects and hubs.
Backup Restoration
Full backups of storage and databases are performed weekly to ensure data can be restored in the event of a data center failure or end user error. In such cases, the system can be rolled back to the most recent backup, and any data deleted between that backup and the incident will be restored.
Project and Hub Deletion
When a project or hub is deleted:
- It is initially soft deleted (not permanently deleted).
- Data is retained for 180 days before permanent deletion.
Restoration Requests
If a project or hub is deleted by mistake, it can be restored within the 180-day retention period. To request a restoration:
- Contact support@newforma.com.
- Include details of the project or hub to restore.
