The RFIs activity center supports configurable due dates, allowing you to define default due dates that are automatically assigned when an RFI is created or forwarded for review.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

In the RFIs activity center, open Settings and select the Dates tab. You will see one section:

  • Automatically assigned dates

Step 2: Configure Due Dates

Under Automatically assigned dates, select the type of days to apply across all date rules:

  • Calendar: Due dates are calculated using calendar days.
  • Business: Due dates are calculated using business days.

Then configure the following:

  • Due date: Set the number of days between the creation of an RFI and its due date.

Outcome: When a due date is configured, the Due date field in the Log RFI modal is calculated with the configured number of days from the creation date.

  • Urgent due date: Set the number of days between the creation of an RFI marked as urgent and its due date.

Outcome: When the Urgent checkbox is selected in the Log RFI modal, the Due date field updates to reflect the configured urgent due date instead.

  • Review due date: Set the number of days between the forwarding of an RFI for review and its due date.

Outcome: When a review due date is configured, the Due date field in the Forward for review modal is pre-populated based on the forwarding date and the configured number of days.

Select Save.

You can still manually override the pre-populated dates when logging a new RFI or forwarding a RFI for review.
