Version control

• When you import a model or a sheet with the same name as an existing one from the Viewer or the publish feature of the REVIT addin, a new version is created and available in the Viewer and the File manager.
• When you import a model or a sheet with the same name as an existing one from the File manager, a new version is created and available in the File manager only. Users must go in the Viewer and import the model using the From file manage option to make the latest model or sheet version available in the Viewer.

Visualize previous versions

To visualize previous versions of a model or a sheet:

1. Go in the model three or the sheet three, depending on what type of file you wish to visualize
2. Hover over the desired file
3. Click on more options
4. Click on Manage versions
5. Previous versions will be available in the right-hand panel, click on the version to visualize
